Tasha started playing football at the age of 7 for local boys team Heworth. She remained there until the age of 11 until she signed for Leeds United Ladies whom she represented until just last season when she signed for Liverpool. She has also represented her county of North Yorkshire during her career.
Tasha is a Leeds United supporter and her favourite player is Jermaine Beckford. She also holds Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard in high regard and describes him as "Having a great positional sense" and thinks he is "A great all round player.
Her main footballing aim is to break into the Liverpool first team and to continue playing at a high standard.
Outside of football Tasha attends Liverpool John Moores University where she is in her second year studying a Sports Science Degree. After finishing her degree she hopes to ecome a football coach or work in the injury side of football.
Tasha is also on a scholarship at University for Academic and Sporting Achievement.

Anisha moved to England when she was ten, but didn’t start playing football professionally until she was seventeen for Blackburn Rovers. She says that she didn’t really understand what the big fuss was surrounding football, but “everyone else was into it” so she thought she should be too! After Blackburn she moved onto Garswood Saints, and then spent four years coaching and training in the MLS Soccer Leagues. A short stint with Everton followed and then Anisha moved to Liverpool Ladies.
Outside of football, Anisha is a keen golfer. She plays off a 17 handicap and has been a member of the Blackburn golf club for four years. Day-to-day Anisha is a PE teacher at a school in Bury.
Personal aims for this season include keeping fit and cementing down a first team place. Promotion back to the Premiership is Anisha’s aim for the team.
Although Anisha supports Liverpool, she says her favourite player is Eric Cantona because of his “effortless brilliance.”
Her proudest moment of her football career so far was captaining Blackburn Rovers, whom she led to promotion undefeated in their league. The best match she ever took part in was an FA Cup semi-final against Charlton. She was on the losing side, but over 1,000 people attended the match, making it extremely memorable.

Playing football with her cousins first got Camel interested in football – an interest that peaked when she started to play for Real Magull. She then moved onto Everton, where she played for nine years before finally moving to Liverpool Ladies. Personally this season Carmel wants to stay in the first team and as a team she’d like to get promoted.
Carmel is currently in her second year at Liverpool John Moores University where she is studying history. When she is finished her degree she aims to become a primary school teacher. She is well equipped to do this, as she is a student advocate. This role sees her talking to potential future students for LJMU and showing them around the University’s campus.
Phil Jagielka is Carmel’s favourite player, because he is “a really good defender.” She supports Everton FC basically because her “whole family does.”
Her proudest moment as a footballer so far was breaking into the first team in the season of 2009/2010. The best match she ever watched was Everton’s victory over Manchester United in 2005.

Wrexham-born Emilly joined Liverpool at the age of 13 and has played for the team ever since. The strikers proudest moment came when she captained the Welsh Under-17s team against England.
She has since then played for the Wales Under-19 team and also appeared for the Welsh senior side aswell. She is a Liverpool supporter and her favourite player is Steven Gerrard.
Emilly is currently at college where she is studying P.E, Human Biology and Maths Statistics. She hopes to one day get a scholarship that will allow her to play in America.
In the meantime she is fully focused on playing for Liverpool and continuing to break into the Wales set-up.

Helen joined Liverpool at the start of the 09/10 season. She joined from local rivals Everton who she has played for since she was 8 years old.
She won managers player of the year at Everton when she was 13.A Liverpool supporter, Helen currently plays for the reserves but has high ambitions of breaking into the first team.
She is currently at sixth form college where she is studying P.E, I.T, and Psychology.

Sam, like most of the Liverpool Ladies players, started playing football in her own back garden with a few local boys. She then went onto play for Saint Pats and then moved onto Everton Ladies.
Sam’s proudest moment as a footballer so far was making her debut in the 6-0 drubbing of Northern Ireland at Anfield. Aims for this season include promotion for the team and to secure a place in the starting-eleven. Sam would like to achieve these aims while “playing to the best of her ability.”
According to Sam, Liverpool are her favourite club because “they never give up.” Her favourite player is Jamie Carragher because she plays in his position and his attitude towards the game.
Out of football, Sam attends sixth form and studies P.E., Biology and Maths.

Caroline has played football for as long as she can remember. In fact, she joined a team, Priory County, when she was just six years old.
On a personal level, Caroline would like to secure a first team place this season and hopefully become a permanent fixture within the Liverpool Ladies set-up. Promotion is Caroline’s main effort for the team this year, which would equate to getting back to the Premiership.
Caroline is currently studying a Medicine degree at Liverpool University. She hopes to become a doctor when she graduates. Caroline also plays football for the University team.
She’s always supported Manchester United and cites her favourite players as Paul Scholes and Wayne Rooney because they give everything to every game.
The best match that she ever took part in was the Liverpool Ladies – Northern Ireland match. She also scored, which made the occasion even more special.
She cites her favourite match as the famous Manchester United comeback against Bayern Munich in 1999.

Gaynor is a centre half and also captain of the reserves team. She started her career at Warrington Town before representing Cheshire. She followed this by a move to Tranmere Rovers before shortly joining Liverpool.
She supported Manchester United as a youngster and her favourite player is Rio Ferdinand, whom she models here game on. The proudest moment during her career is representing county team Cheshire.
She is fully concentrating on football for the meanwhile with a view to hopefully breaking into the first team this season.

Micha started her football at the age of eight with Barcelona Girls. Micha moved on to Tranmere Rovers and then to Everton. At the start of the 2004/5 season Micha joined Liverpool Ladies. Micha was a part of Liverpool’s Midland/Northern Division 1 (reserves) league winning side in 2006/7.

George started her football career with Cardiff in 1988 with whom she won the Welsh FA Cup. In 1996 Georgie won a football scholarship with Lock Haven University in the United States. Since then Georgie played her football in the States with periods at Hampton Road, Piranhas and Cleveland Eclipse.
Whilst in the states Georgie was a member of a W-League winning side. On her return to the UK in 2008 Georgie has signed for Liverpool Ladies. Her proudest career moment to date is winnig the W-League with her University team.
She Cites her favourite player to be Eric Cantona who she describes as "brilliant" and also admires Paul Scholes, a player she shares a similar playing position to. She hopes to continue her career at Liverpool and play many more games for the club.

Louise started her footballing career when she was younger at Skem. She says that her Dad was her main reason she got into football. Her Dad also knew Liverpool old-boy Alan Kennedy, which contributed too. She moved to Liverpool Ladies when she was just eight years old and has worked her way up to the first team. One of her aims this season is to improve certain aspects of her game and become comfortable playing at this level. Louise said she’s noticed that the players are “faster and stronger at this level.”
Louise’s favourite player is Steven Gerrard, because he can control the team with his range of passing and movement. Her favourite match she’s ever watched was Liverpool’s exciting comeback against AC Milan in the Champions League final.
Her proudest moment as a footballer so far was winning Players player of the year at the Centre of Excellence for Liverpool under 16’s.
Louise currently attends sixth-form at Omskirk School. She studies Applied Art, P.E., Psychology and Geography.

Amy started playing football at the age of 7 where she was member of boys team Westvale Sports and Social before moving on to Liverpool Girls at the age of 11.
Amie joined Liverpool Ladies on during the 2007/8 season having come up through Liverpool Girls and has recently made her debut for Liverpool Ladies Reserves against Preston North End showing great promise for the future.
She can play either in centre midfield or on the wing an likens her style to her favourite player Mikel Arteta. She is also an Everton supporter.
Amy is currently at college studying Sports and hopes to maintain her good form and push towards the first team.

Fozzy started her footballing career at the Conway Devils. Her Dad is her main footballing influence as having a ‘kick-about’ in the garden when she was younger helped develop her passion for football. After the Conway Devils she moved onto Bangor City Ladies where she played for the first team. Then, Liverpool called and she moved there. She’s the longest serving member at LLFC, with a total of seven years.
Outside of football Fozzy’s a P.E. teacher in Chester. She completed a degree in sport, health and PE in Bangor University and then completed her PCGE.
She supports the Liverpool’s men’s team, citing John Barnes as her reason – he was her hero. Now her favourite player is Steven Gerrard because he’s “the best player in the world in every context. He can defend, he can attack, he can lead and anything really!”
Her proudest moment as a footballer so far was achieving fifty caps for Wales – she was only the second player to do so. Her fiftieth game also saw her sport the captain’s armband in a 3-0 victory against Slovenia.
The best match Fozzy’s ever took part in was a European cup qualifier against Germany. The game was played in Germany in front of a capacity crowd of 20,000. The best match she’s ever watched was the Liverpool – AC Milan Champions League Final. However she did say that she couldn’t bring herself to watch the penalties.

Danielle started playing football when she was 7 for a local boys team. She moved onto Everton at the age of 12 and also played at the Tranmere Rovers Centre Of Excellence Under 12s and Under 14s. She then moved onto the Everton Centre of Excellence Under 16s. During this time she was selected for the England Under 16s training squad.
One of the highlights of Danielle`s career so far is winning the Reserve League with Everton when she was 17 in which she looks back on with fond memories; "It was a great season because we scored 50 goals and only conceded 3, I dont think we lost a game all season."
During her time at Leeds University she was voted Player of the Year by her University team mates and has since graduated. She is now training to be a qualified accountant in Liverpool.
Having only joined in pre-season she hopes to remain at Liverpool and wear the red shirt for as long as she can. A keen Liverpool supporter, Danielles favourite player is Sami Hyypia.

Alicia has played for the Reds for all her footballing career. She joined Liverpool Ladies under-10 side after watching her Dad and Uncle playing five-a-side-football.
Alicia is one of the newest players in the team this season, having broke into the first-team squad just this season. Clearly the right decision was made, because she scored on her debut! In fact, she credits the match against Lincoln as her best game so far.
Outside of football Alicia is in her first year of sixth form studying P.E. and ICT. She hopes to go onto University when she’s finished her A-Levels and study Sports Psychology.
Aims for this season for Alicia include her scoring more goals. But, the biggest aim is to get the team promoted back to the Premier division.
Alicia’s supports Everton when she’s watching football, and her favourite player is Mikel Arteta because “he’s a very skilful player.”

Ally started her playing career at the Blackburn Rovers Centre of Excellence. During this time she scored her first Premier League goal for the club, something she fondly looks back on and describes as one her proudest moments to date.
Since then she has played for Wigan Athletic before moving on to Liverpool Ladies where she aims to establish herself as a prominent first team player. Her favourite football player is ex-Chelsea legend Gianfranco Zola, and she is a keen supporter of Wgan Ahletic.

Robbie Johnson is the manager of Liverpool Ladies FC. He has a wealth of experience in the footballing world, spanning over thirty years. Originally a player in his Navy days, he played in the Hampshire League for just short of seven years. He worked for twelve years with local Liverpool schools, developing and nurturing young talent. This is coupled with fifteen years of experience as the University of Liverpool head coach, which was an FA appointment. He was part of a group that took the first FA Youth Coaches award in 2001. Robbie’s been the LLFC manager since the 2008 season.
When in his day job Robbie is a telecoms manager. He used to support Everton, but has said that fifteen years in the Liverpool set-up has changed that! His proudest achievement is seeing players that he helped developed make it to the ‘big time.’ These players include Wayne Rooney and Michael Owen!
The best match he ever watched was the Everton – Rapid Vienna clash in 1985.

Kelly joined Liverpool Ladies four years ago, alongside her twin sister Vicky. She cites her Dad and her older sister as the reasons she started to get interested in playing football. When she was about eight, she played for Halton, then Huyton, moving onto Tranmere and then finally LLFC.
Kelly’s just finished a Sports Development and P.E. degree at LJMU, which enabled her to start coaching different sports at varied primary schools.
Her proudest moment of her career so far was competing in the World University games and finishing third overall.
Like many LLFC players, Kelly’s favourite side is Liverpool. However, she does quiet admire Barcelona because of the way that they play. Her favourite Barca player is Lionel Messi because he’s just “so good to watch.” Her favourite match that she ever watched was the Liverpool-AC Milan final in 2005 because it was really “exciting.”

She is currently at college studying for a Sports Science Level 3 National Diploma. Sophie has been a Liverpool supporter all her life and her favourite player is vice-captain Jamie Carragher.

Vicky joined Liverpool Ladies approximately four years ago, alongside her twin sister Kelly. She began to get interested in football after watching her Dad play 5-a-side.
This season Vicky hopes to achieve promotion with the club and, on a more personal level, beat her own record of scoring one goal in a season!
Outside of football, Vicky teaches different sports in primary schools across Liverpool. She has a degree from Liverpool John Moores in Sports Development and PE. She also partakes in coaching for the Centre of Excellence.
Her proudest moment as a footballer so far was representing Great Britain in the World University Games in Belgrade. The best match that Vicky ever took part in was the semi-final of said competition – scoring one of the penalties that took Team GB through after a goalless draw.
Vicky’s favourite football match that she watched was the highly popular Liverpool-AC Milan match. She describes it as an “emotional rollercoaster!” Her favourite player is Steven Gerrard because she admires his leadership and game tactics.

Beth has played football since the age of 11. She started at her childhood team Everton before moving to Liverpool, despite the move her allegiance to the blues has remained and she still follows them to this day.
Her favourite player is ex-blues legend Neville Southall whom she found an inspiring figure to follow. She considers merseyside derbies to be her favourite game to play in and is currently at college workin towards a B-Tech national diploma in sport.

Faye has impressively represented England at Under 17 and Under 19 level. She made her England debut for England Under 19s at the age of 15 against Switzerland.
The highlight of her career so far is playing for England in the European Championships Final in 2008. Her favourite footballer is Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard.

Lesley has played football since she was five years old, when she joined her schoolboy’s team. She went onto join Liverpool Ladies when she was just eight years old. She has been playing for Liverpool Ladies for approximately twelve years.
She supports Everton, stating that she “didn’t have much choice in the matter.” She had previously tried to support Liverpool, but her Dad had her wearing an Everton football shirt when she was young.
Lesley’s favourite player is Lionel Messi because he’s skilful and can control teams with seemingly little effort.
This season Lesley hopes to get promoted with Liverpool Ladies. Personally she’d like to stay injury-free and achieve a regular place in the first team.
The best match that Lesley ever was when Liverpool Ladies took on Everton. She cites them as “the best standard I’ve ever played against.” Her proudest moment was winning the reserve league in 2006.

Jackie started her football with Greencastle Ladies, Ireland. Jackie signed for Liverpool from Everton in 2003. Jackie is captain of Liverpool reserves and has captained both Liverpool’s and Everton’s winning sides in the Midland/Northern Division 1 (reserves) league.
This season Jackie has taken on a coaching/manager role with the researves.
Jackie is a Manchester United supporter, and her two favourite players are Roy Keane and Ryan Giggs. She describes Roy Keane as a "Fantastic leader on the field who gave his heart and soul and was able to grab the game by the scruff of the neck."
She also admires Ryan Giggs because "Hes an excellent role model to all youngsters and a great professional."
Her aims for the future include becoming a better coach, and also trying her hand in managing fully.

Nicola started playing football at the age of 8 and has played for both Burscough and Blackburn Rovers. The proudest moment of her career so far came in a Blackburn shirt when she helped her team defeat Manchester City in the F.A. Cup Final.
Currently playing for the reserves, Nicola hopes to break into the first team at Liverpool. She is an Everton supporter and says her favourite player is Spanish playmaker Mikel Arteta.

Amber states that her Dad and her brother were the reasons that she got into football. Before breaking into the Liverpool first team, she plied her trade at Mossley Hill and Birkdale.
This season Amber hopes to gain promotion with Liverpool Ladies, hopefully scoring a few goals along the way to try and cement her place in the first team.
Amber currently studies sport at Southport College. She enjoys the physical side of her course immensely.
The best match that Amber has watched was Manchester United’s victory against Aston Villa in the 2008/2009 season. “Macheda’s goal was just amazing!” She said. She believes, however, that the best match she’s ever took part in is yet to come.

Football isn’t the only game that Jenny plays – she partakes in a game of rounders every now and again. In fact, she used to play for England in the position 4th deep. However she first got into football when she was younger and she attended a training session with her brother at Pen Lake. She then moved onto Garswood, and then spent a time at Everton before finally moving onto Liverpool Ladies. Having played in the reserves last season, Jenny has now broken into the first team.
She believes being consistent in her performances is her personal aim this year, while as a team she’d love to get promoted.
Her proudest moment as a footballer so far was winning the league and the league cup with Everton in the same year.
Jenny is currently in sixth form studying P.E., Psychology and Leisure Studies. When she’s finished her sixth-form studies she hopes to attend Buckinghamshire University to complete a course in Police Studies & Criminology. In the long run, she’s like to go into the police and have a career in criminology.
The best match that Jenny ever watched was actually a rugby league match, where Saint Helens beat Wigan by an unbelievable margin of 75-0 in 2007.

Jo began to play football when she was younger; having games in her local park wither her three big brothers. She started her footballing career at Everton when she was just in primary school. In fact, Jo’s proudest moment as a footballer so far was breaking into the Everton Ladies first team when she was just fifteen. To gain a place in the starting eleven she had to bypass two internationals! She herself has gained a commendable 49 youth caps for England.
This season Jo wants to achieve promotion in spectacular style – by finishing the league unbeaten. One of her personal aims is to score as many goals as she can.
Jo went to the University of Lancaster where she studied Spanish. She now works as a freelance translator.
In what could be seen as a controversial choice, Jo doesn’t really support a football team. However, her favourite player is Michael Turner, who plays for Sunderland, because “he’s a good player.”
Jo’s proudest moment as a footballer so far was losing 2-1 to Germany in a youth England match. She said: “They were really good and we took them to extra time!”

Hannah started playing football when she was six. At first it was just a few games in the garden with her older brothers, but she went onto join a local boy’s team, Moscow Boys.
This season Hannah wants to see Liverpool Ladies get promoted back to the Premier League. She would also like to improve on her weaknesses – one of which she cites is “communication.”
Although Hannah supports Liverpool, she doesn’t have a particularly favourite player. She said: “I just like the whole team really!” Liverpool are her choice of football team because “it’s in the blood – my whole family supports them!”
Hannah’s proudest moment as a footballer so far was beating Northern Ireland 6-0 in a friendly match played at Anfield.
When Hannah is finished her degree in Psychology at LJMU, she is considering travelling the world. She is currently in her last year of her course and works part-time at Asda.

Katie Williams started playing football with her brother and sisters, citing this as the reason that she got into football. Her first team was Bangor City, she then moved onto Tranmere, then to Blackburn and finally to LLFC.
Her aims as a team this season are to get promoted. Personally, she’d like to get through the season without injuring herself. In the past Katie ruptured her ACL, however she didn’t realise! After going over to the USA to play in a few matches, her ACL went again. She then had to stay in the US for the operation.
Outside of football Katie works as an active young people officer – going from school to school teaching children about physical education. She says helping children to play sports and get active gives her a sense of satisfaction. Katie also plays goalkeeper for her local hockey team.
She is a Manchester United fan at heart, mainly because her Dad supported them. Her favourite player was Mark Hughes, according to Katie he was a “quality player” and he was Welsh! Vidic is her favourite current Manchester United player – she describes him as “an old fashioned defender.
Her proudest moment as a footballer so far is playing for Wales – she says that every one of her caps make her proud.
One of the best matches that Katie ever watched was the famous Manchester Untied – Bayern Munich Champions League Final in 1999.
